Evap Pow'r No Rinse Coil Cleaner

Instructions for Use:

To clean the evaporator coil, follow these steps:

1. Turn off the equipment and access the evaporator coil.
2. If the coil is heavily soiled with lint, dirt, etc., use a brush to remove as much as possible before cleaning.
3. Prepare a cleaning solution by mixing one part of Evap Pow'r-C with three parts of water in a quality Nu-Calgon sprayer.
4. Close nearby registers to prevent natural air currents from picking up cleaning solution droplets. Even though the blower is off, it is important to control this.
5. Lightly coat all coil surfaces with the cleaning solution by spraying it on.
6. Rinsing is not required, especially if there is enough humidity in the ambient air to provide a rinsing action.
7. If rinsing is necessary, consider treating the coil with Cal-Shield, a Teflon surface protectant (4148-08), before returning the system to service.
